Just wondering if Ray could post a possible projection date for the new release?

Sure I would have to say if all goes well, April 15th maybe sooner. Ran into some problems with devices not mounting properly, but thats fixed now.

...devices not mounting properly...
I recently "transplanted" a hard drive into a new machine & had a heck of a time getting the new video card to re-detect.
I wound up booting off the DVD & selected "fix broken install" (or something like that) & it ran through the hardware re-detect hoops.
Is there a better way to force a hardware re-detect?
Linspire used to be great at that, it'd do it on its own w/o any prompting, could play "musical chairs" with HDs all day long.
Currently running a 10.1 kubuntu install because of the multiple monitor thing.

For me, I still think the best OS was Freespire 1.0. Worked out-of-the-box on every computer I installed it.

Another great thing about Freespire 1.0 was how it worked great with Intel internal graphics cards. You could re-size the screen and it seemed to retain the quality of the original size. This is one problem I've been having with Linux. When I re-size to accommodate my "tired older eyes," you seem to lose the quality (1280x1024 pixels to 1024-768 pixels) and the focus is not as clear.
