Earliest version of Lindows I ever had was 3.0, hehehe. Never got to see 2.0.exe
I immediately loved it!

I began my Lindows/Linspire experience with Lindows 4.0 and loved it! I am saddened and angered as well over Xandros' apparent reneging on continuing Freespire.

I feel the same way. I feel they should have at least turned over Freespire to the community, instead of abandoning it. I fought hard on Freespire/Linspire, but Xandros wouldn't go for it. They just wanted CNR

When did Lindows become Linspire? I think it was with version 4.5. That was my first successful experience with Linux. I loved it.

I think it was with 4.5 too. I would have to say Lindows/Linspire made me like Linux even more, thats what got me to switch from my trusty Commodore Amiga 2000HD OS 3.5 to a PC with Lindows/Linspire!

I will try and see if I can be of some help around here, but as you well know, the economy, and construction in particular is terrible right now, and I am doing all that I can to survive this mess.
Time will tell.
