HI Ray You seem to be very good at coding Linux. Have you ever though of moving PhoenixOS as far away from buntu as possible. You don't need an upgrade every 6 months. You upgrade it when your ready. I don't mean bug fixes those will always haunt you. I personally don't care for Ubuntu I hate it when somebody says PhoenixOS is just a copy of Ubuntu. I like very much what you have done with PhoenixOS. Unlike Chris you are always here.

Thanks, I have been thinking about after making a final product, of possibly doing that or basing it on Debian. My main priority is to get a final version out by Labor day that has the user bug fixed and works for Deffi and Tekmate hopefully Very Happy

I try to make it a point to be here, cuz I have always felt that any product is only as good as its support. You can have a great product but if you have terrible support whats good is it.
I hope for PhoenixOS to evolve to the point where it has the Linspire look and feel and polish and its great having the Linspire community here! Freespire forums aren't quite as active as they once were and may go down in August, as I doubt Xandros will renew.

Plus I have a few things up my sleeve for PhoenixOS: just waiting to acquire permission to include these "Mystery items" in my OS alien
