From Distrowatch:

http://distrowatch.com/6234

Robbie Williamson has announced Ubuntu 10.04.1, the first maintenance update to Ubuntu's 10.04 LTS release: "This release includes updated server, desktop, and alternate installation CDs for the i386 and amd64 architectures. This is the first maintenance release of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, which continues to be supported with maintenance updates and security fixes until April 2013 on desktops and April 2015 on servers. Numerous post-release updates have been integrated, and a number of bugs in the installation system have been corrected. These include security updates and corrections for other high-impact bugs, with a focus on maintaining stability and compatibility with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS." See the release announcement for further information. A complete list of post-release updates will be made available tomorrow. Download (SHA256): ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso (686MB, torrent), ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso (686MB, torrent).

Lucid has been a thorn in my side since the alphas. I will give this one a shot though, but I doubt it will be any better then the last.

Edit:
You can also get it at Linux Tracker:
http://linuxtracker.org/index.php?page=torrent-details&id=cdc844a364ae2417ea204ea4840129b2298e7dd4

I'm getting over 1mb on the dl.

Already got it, now gotta go to my notes on how I fixed the few bugs including python. Then patch it for kde 3 then add my scripts to make it Linspire Like with "out of box" experience Very Happy
Then update the packages one more time, and add various packages . I should be able to have something either by end of week or next week.

Sounds good. Am running the Lucid release to post this. Seems fine on LiveCD. Will find out on install.

I ran Update Manager again this morning, and there were a few packages that were updated, two of them involved FireFox.

All is well... Cool Cool Cool

I am eagerly awaiting Phoenix Lucid, as Lucid is the first distro not to run on my box and I have tried all majors from slackware onwards.

David

Edit 15.40 10.08.19

Downloaded and burned kubuntu 10.04.1, and tried to install live thrice. Froze at the splash screen.

ray you know you don't have to start over with the new Lucid update your current Lucid Phoenix and then generate a new ISO from that.

That is quite true...

Just update what you already have and go from there... I checked this morning and there is a new kernel update to 2.6-32-24.41 ... which I am downloading right now.
