Wallpaper Contest !

In the spirit of Linspire tradition, thought it be a good idea to have a contest. I need 4 new wallpapers for PhoenixOS Final. I will pick 4 of the best wallpapers created here, and include them in PhoenixOS final. The winners will have their wallpaper featured in PhoenixOS and will receive a retail package of the "Limited Edition" Gold PhoenixOS that I have been working on in my spare time.

So let the creations begin!

I like them, I switch between those 2 and some darker wallpapers that I found all over the net.

Just a word of caution...

Make sure that you check with whoever created the art and get their permission to use it.

I had mentioned that back in the Day when Linspire did a parody using the Door's "Light My Fire" music that they needed the Door's permission to use their music. Of course, I was dismissed by Carmony saying that it was a parody and they didn't need the Door's permission... Of course... he was wrong, and the Door's sued them for copyright infringement. What a maroon that guy was... (Carmony)...

Thanks Harvey, yeah we definitely don't need that to happen here.

Kevin Carmony rants that everything was Michael's fault; when personally from the stuff I heard unofficially from my contacts at Xandros ALOT was his, and you just bought up one of many examples of his ignorance.

I would contact the creator's of these fine wallpapers, but I think it would be pointless for me since I am not the dev or creator.

Need to get some more wallpapers, so people get creative

Heck, I barely had time to just turn the critter on, been busy beating a ThinkPad into submission!!!
My kid's mother-in-law needed a "new" computer. Her old one (an understatement; if it were any older it'd be steam powered) is so old, the max ram the mobo can handle is 128MB!!!
She wanted to switch to a laptop so I nabbed a ThinkPad R60 & was going to slap a dual boot on it but "somebody" couldn't resist messing around with it before it could get set up & the XP install got trashed so instead of dual booting it's got Karmic Mini on it with Win4Lin running WordPerfect 9.
There's a battery test running right now, got an old time radio episode of "Buck Rogers" playing so I can get a "real time" run check.
Anybody remember "Popsickle Pete"?
