PhoenixOS to go private
Wed Jan 03, 2018 4:09 pm
I tried to be fair about this and made an announcement that due to lack of donations, if no funds were raised I would have to go private and sell PhoenixOS instead of free.
NOT ONE PENNY was donated. It is with deep regret that I will have to go private with PhoenixOS and be commerical sales instead of free. I can not afford to keep draining my wallet on a labor of love that bring in ZERO donations. I will however keep the forums here, as I would like to see the old Linspire gang here like it was back in the day whether it be to visit, or keep in touch, whatever you would like.
Sincerely;
Raymond A Cruz

Hi welcome back and yes the forums are up. PhoenixOS web address can be found here www.raccomputers.com. There is a new iso coming out in a couple of weeks so the download links are down now.

As I understand it...you have a Debian based OS correct?
I'm asking, because there is a Android based OS also called PhoenixOS.

I don't know if you were aware of it, but you may have to do something about it.

Ray is correct. I actually called my lawyer this morning and she confirmed they are out of China and there is nothing that can be done. Like all tech items and names they freely steal what they want. At least we know the truth.
