PhoenixOS Debian Version coming soon! Empty PhoenixOS Debian Version coming soon!

Wed Mar 07, 2012 5:33 pm
I have finished up a beta of PhoenixOS debian version and I need testers. This last release had some issues for some people which means we need more testers so I can squash out any bugs.

Thanks

Ray..

P.S. Special thanks to John Pisini (Tekmate) for helping make this become a reality.

PhoenixOS Debian Version coming soon! Empty lucid

Wed Mar 07, 2012 6:47 pm
I have lucid installed and running it. seems to be OK. The only thing is at log-in, a box comes up and says that there is an error logging on to oem. but if you click on it than the regular log in comes up.The only other thing I had is with FLdigi. Getting the driver to the transmitter. That was with Fldigi and not the OS. Will try the other when it comes available.Dave

Sounds like autologin not working correctly but your able to click it on so thats good. Out of curiosity next time you boot up does it login correctly using your newly created login info?

Ray..

P.S. Thanks for the testing!

When you boot up a box comes up and says that there is an error with oem log in. To contact the administrator. But if you click OK it goes away and the log in that was created during the install comes up and you an login.

Sorry guys I have been swamped at work and home. I was hoping to spend more time working on things here but my wife just recently had to stop working due to health issues so things are crazy right now.

Thats fine, I totally undertstand and hope things get better for you. We will keep your wife in our prayers. I managed to finish it and I am about to upload it.

Now need to do a non-pae version of the previous release for the ppl who could not get the pae one to work.

I might mail it to you and have you upload it someplace untill this gets straightned out, then just post a link to it. What you think? I really hate keeping people waiting.

Thanks

If you want to do that it would be OK by me.
If it is under 2gb make a dropbox account and share it out. I will download and post it back up. You can't host with them but you can share a file with one or two people.
