I also like to thank a certain PhoenixOS user, that was generous to donate the funds that helped make the purchase of my replacement laptop possible.
If it was not for the generosity of this user, I would never been able to finish up these 3 releases!

As of right now, Phoenix Flamehawk Hardy is now final. This is the last and final iso for hardy. The repos have been tweaked that you can keep everything up to date with simple sudo apt-get update and sudo aptitude full-upgrade. Please keep note of these two commands, they will keep your system up to date without breaking anything.

I tried Hardy in Virtualbox it just kernel panics. I will wait on Karmic or Lucid.

Did I get a bad copy or what? I select live CD and I can't find an install icon anywhere. I select install direct and it just comes up live again.

same here; I went to "run" & punched in "ubiquity" (without the quotes) - hit enter.
I'm not sure but it *might* have installed before though, or at least that's the way the disk partition looked before being told to "take over entire disk".

My subsequent install went well enough, though my ancient machine groaned at me a couple times.

I had an install of Lindows 4.0 on it before, but without all the goodies like LinDVD, etc etc.



Looking at what extras were included in this edition of PhoenixOS-Karmic, I really didn't have to add much of anything extra.
It's a lot easier having the same taste as the head chef.

I burned Karmic twice and could not get it to work. The MD5 was ok.
There is no install icon on the desktop. And when I select install direct
it just comes up live again and not installing.

No problem with Hardy works great. Installer was fine.
