Kill 32 bit support and add Android version? Empty Kill 32 bit support and add Android version?

Sat Jun 09, 2018 10:50 am
Would you all be interested in participating in a poll: I want to see how what you would rather have 32 bit and kde 3 support or 64 bit and kde 4 and is there enough interest in Android version?

I don't think that I would ever use an Android version. Not really sure where that would even apply, to be honest.

Yeah I think I might hold off on that and just focus on the new release instead. Now I just need to find Tekmate!

At this point I'm not even sure I have a 32 bit machine around. I might, but doubt it. I would say just stick with 64 and KDE 4.

Also no need to mess with Android, at least not for the time being. A Chromium offshoot may be of interest as Google starts pushing Chrome Tablets but that is still a ways off before the usage justifies it.

Thats exactly the direction I was thinking of going, then later if Chromium gets bigger and has playstore support then I could see maybe doing one.

Now I just need to find Tekmate Very Happy

Got it, going to send him an email right now.
Tekmate helped me a lot with the PhoenixOS distro back in the day, and knows the code
and scripting; hopefully I can recruit him once again.

Heheheh. Yeah he is. He has been thru some hard times, and his wife's health was pretty bad for a while. Last I heard she was doing better: I hope things have gotten better for him and that his family is doing well. He deserves it; he has really gone above and beyond many times for me in the past.
