Hmmmmmmm.......

It seems that the signature only shows up on the new posts, but the old posts (from a few moments ago to the inception of the forums) don't show the signature.

Weird...

Yeah thats the only thing I couldnt figure out, closest thing I can figure is when I reset the settings back to default maybe it fixed the signature thing, and only new post can have signatures since it was not working prior to that?

I think by default the sigs are disabled (had to enable them on my forums as-well)
and yes they seem to only affect posts made AFTER the option is disabled, but from what I've seen at least when the signature is modified it does affect the previous posts (made AFTER the option is disabled).

The option to enable it was pretty good hidden IMHO and forulotion doen't give you access to the actual admin panels but something they created to use (guess it allow the same control panel for each forum software so you can switch from phpBB to something else without needing to learn a new forum software ??)

Hehehe guess I was right then, and yes they hide it very well. But once you get used to it, its pretty nice for free forum software Very Happy

Don't know I didn't see any episodes yet (not on TV here) but it should be targeting new viewers (younger than the current Stargate SG1/Atlantis fans) so I don't know where they are going with this.

there should be an option for a usergroup somewhere.

I think it's this :

1. go to the Admin pannel (Duh Very Happy )
2. go tp Users & Groups
3. click "Rank Administration" under "Ranks" in the left menu
4. "Create new rank"

there is an option "Rank Image URL (http://URL_RANK_IMAGE.gif) :" you add the URL to the image there
5. SAVE (Duh again Wink )
6 Search for the user you want to give the "badge" or "rank" to "Search user" in the Users section
7. Edit the profile and to the bottom there should be a section called : "Special admin-only fields"
there you can set stuff like "banned" and the "Rank Title" just select the rank there (I called it "Insider" and save the profile).

that should be it.
